Kemal banned sharia, abolished the caliphate, banned the call to prayer in Arabic, so the call to prayer was in Turkish.
From the most literate Muslim nation, overnight he made the most illiterate nation in the world, banning the Arabic alphabet and forcibly introducing the inferior Latin alphabet.

ignore everything, Turkish language is not suitable for Arabic alphabet. The Presidency of Religious Affairs was established by Atatürk.. he translated Quran to Turkish, cos of our ppl never talks or understand Arabian.... etc etc etc etc etc....
