My fellow eCroatians!
As you already know, in the last 3 months I have been actively involved
in the business of the government of the Republic of eCroatia as a
Minister of Defence, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prime Minister and now as a President.

Today, I have decided to temporarily step back from the political scene
and play the game as a normal citizen.
Before I continue with my talk, I want to emphasize that I am not running away
in the middle of my mandate, it's just the policy of Croatia to elect the president little sooner
because the map reset is always on the 1st of the month
(I came to the position on the 24th of January).

I want to thank all the people who are and were standing by my side in the last
three months and contributed in creation of a better Croatia.
Most credits go to our biggest tank Marinko. Besides his damage,
his diplomacy and political actions were an indispensable wheel without which the
achieved success would not be possible.
Some maybe didn't like my work or resent some of my actions
but all was done in the favour of our mother Croatia!!!

In the rest of the article I want to show what was done in the last few months.
Want to emphasize again that this is not my own work but the work of
a team, where I may have contributed directly or indirectly!

Bonuses

Since I came to the political scene, there were 2 map reshuffles where in both all
countries were returned to the core regions.

In the first reshuffle I acted as a Minister of Defence and a Minister of Foreign Affairs where
Croatia managed to obtain the navy bonus and had all other bonuses on the 80%,
without any bigger conflicts and with good diplomation and strategy.

It was a good start to rebuild our country but taking on mind the income was not that big,
we decided to hunt the 5000 golds reward for the number of
regions ranking and succeeded in it.

In the second reshuffle, I acted as a Prime Minister and Country President.
We went on all the bonuses we could gather but not in purpose
of holding them all but to secure some to our allies.
Our first step was South America with food and navy rare bonus where we
secured the food rare before Serbia got access to the sea.
After obtaining full house and navy bonus and 80% of weapon and food bonuses,
we joined Serbia in the war with N. Macedonia where we got
food and weapon rare in Egypt. We gave weapon rare to USA and that left us on the
current situation with 3 full bonuses and 80% of the weapon bonus, which
is the best result Croatia had so far!

Bonus protection

After we gathered the bonuses in the first reshuffle. I, as a MoFA, made some
'deals' with the countries I was in a good relations with
to secure our bonuses (Hungary, France, Italy, Germany, Iran, Turkey).

We found a way to make both countries happy and found a word on securing each
others bonuses. Some of them entered the countries we held important bonuses in so we
can raise RWs there in exchange for protection and regions so they obtain at least
basic bonuses. Also, Croatia was one protecting those RWs!

With some countries the strategy was much bigger (like Turkey) because we
both held bonuses in some parts but we decided to protect
RWs that were raised there together, so it made it easier for both of us!

Besides that, in our alliance, countries were willing to help each other to secure the bonuses,
so we did the same as described above. Some RWs were raised to Croatia to
protect their bonuses, some were raised to them to protect Croatian bonuses.

This way I want to thank all for the help we got!

Market stabilization

Before we started making some bigger plans with the bonuses we achieved,
we needed to fix our market which was unstable and expensive.
For that reason, we have created 1000 raw material companies on our ORG and organized
ourselves to produce everything that was missing on our market.

Also, we have made a deal with Hungary to transfer their ORG to Croatia which was
the last piece to finish our job in market stabilization.
This led us to one of the cheapest and most stable markets in the world for all the
products observed (by stable I mean always having all the products needed).

Reforms

I didn't have many reforms in the plan when I came to this position because
previous CPs have already done what was needed to be.
Makarov made a tax reform, Motorina and Polar made youth support reform etc.
Motivated by the events unfolding in the country, I decided to do some changes nevertheless.

A player will receive an 80% refund on construction costs upon providing the required screenshots (the minimum amount spent must be 300 golds to qualify for the refund)

For every 10th supported or raised RW, a player will receive a reward of 50 golds, 1000q5 weapons and 1000 q5 navys

For getting caught in a conversation with a N. Macedonian, a player will be fined 10 golds. If the player chooses not to pay the fine, he/she will be denied access to the state weapons.

On the organized hits, q4 weapons and up to 2000q5 weapons will be free to all our players. Every k above 2000q5 weapons will be paid 10 golds per k.

Hungarian ORG will receive 100% tax return on work to recover from the extinction and as a token of gratitude for securing our bonuses.

Diplomation

In the games like this one, the situations where you need to deal with some diplomatic problems
are daily routine. For the reason of confidentiality, I will only list the deals
and discussions made in my CP mandate or directly made by me,
so I don't step on someone's toe or put someone in an awkward position.

On the first day of my mandate, I woken up on 20 messages with 4 different problems
to be solved. Some of them very easy, while some required a lot
of self control and patience.

Manga problem - On the first night of my mandate, Manga was spotted hitting against our allies USA in organized hits. As I have appointed Manga as a minister in my government, it was my responsibility to fix it. Manga was approachable for this situation and for not putting me in a bad situation, he stepped from his position and stopped hitting against our allies.

Zylo problem - At the same time, our friend Zylo decided to leave Murat's tyranny and went to Afganistan which had no regions and was occupied by Iran. Taking on mind Iran is our ally, the conflict there should have been avoidable if possible. We easily came to a word where Iran will set free not bonus regions to Zylo, so he can start building his community there.

Macedonia problem - Even though we have participated in the the war with N. Macedonia very shortly, we saw no point of fighting there cause our goal was fulfilled, we helped Serbia to delete them. This ping pong war with no one motivated to do OHs was meaningless and we decided to sign peace treaty without additional points of agreement. This led to a fortunate situation of us blocking the entrance to Egypt which saved allied bonuses.

Humulus problem - The biggest problem I left for the end. Wont hide my hatred towards Humulus but for the reason I represent a whole country where some are in good relations with him, I needed to put my ego aside. Our goal was clear. We wanted Hungary free and after we fulfilled our goals with bonuses, as we promised to them, we will help them in liberation. The talks took 2-3 days and were very exhausting but all 3 sides came to a word and Romania left all Hungarian regions they didn't need for their bonuses. My opinion about the deal is positive and I was surprised how easy the talk went taking on mind we are enemies. Want to thank both Jaca and Humulus for their time and patience!

First day killed me but that was not the end of my diplomatic act. I will list few more I consider
important, while the others will stay secret cause I will brake the max words limit.

As I mentioned, we had a problem with Turkey in Portugal for raising RWs to each other
because we both held bonuses there. We are in good relations with our fellow Turks and came
to a deal where we will both protect those RWs to whoever they are raised. Both
countries respected the deal so I want to thank Turkey for this!

The last act I will mention is France. Even though we are holding some of their regions from
the beginning, I hate when big countries destroy small communities. Many countries
entered their regions and they had no chance against them. But with few talks
and deals, we have liberated more than a half of their territory. Besides that, Croatia gave them
Belgium regions so they get some bonuses but Germany was faster to attack. Also, we tried
to give them a path to Switzerland but our allies cannot help the urge to fight for us.

Returnees

As it is in most of the communities, inner conflicts for political or some other reasons
inside a country are also daily routine. This led Croatia to almost the edge
of falling apart. Some players left the country, some left the game and
some left he discord chat.

My goal was to unite all the Croatians in the world and I think
I can say that mission was successful.
I fought hard to bring our players back even though most of them didn't like each other.

After few unsuccessful tries, DreamKiller and Manga came back to Croatia.
This led into a big argument where some players left the chat but that was also fixed shortly after
so Motorina, Murkoff and Insomnia came back to the chat.
Also, player MalikTintilinic (Koske) joined us on discord.
I have also convinced my old friend from other games Markaus
to come back to Croatia from Germany.

Only thing left was the players who left the game so I annoyed them every day to come back.
Now, Nebra007, shaumatrauma and Lujo (petarjukic) log in every day and talk
to us on discord.

The last peace of the puzzle to make our squad complete is our sailor Smiljan who came
back yesterday from 4 months of sailing the seven seas. Now Croatia is in full roster
and ready for new victories!!!

Want to point out that players who left Croatia like Mac1990, Mad Polar Bear and others were
part of some strategical plans and will return immediately if needed!

Alliance job

During these 3 months, I have also contributed to the work of the alliance on
many positions. Leaving the politics of a country includes leaving the
politics of the alliance as well.

Even though I had positions of MoFA and vMC there in past 3 months, most of my time
went on organizing and raising RWs. I have gathered 42 Resistance Hero medals
which is the most in the game for that period.

I wont describe the other positions much cause these positions are related
to the same ones in the country which I held and are
already described in the paragraphs above.

Want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped me in the alliance
with their presence on the OHs and RWs. Also, I want to say that
I had a great time with all the people in the alliance, even though I am currently
an enemy for some of them.

The fact that the game has become a secondary thing compared to our
hangouts on the channel is the very purpose of these multiplayer games!

Goals

I cant speak much about the goals cause I will not be a part of the politics as I said
but I want to take this chance to say my wishes for the period that is coming.

I hope Croatia will continue protecting Hungary and France from being
deleted from the map and will be able to find a word with them.
MPP system that is coming will put even more pressure on these small
communites cause no strong country will sign MPP with them and they will need
out help more than ever!

I think it is time to take a pause from keeping this many bonuses cause
of the time consumption which leads to players getting overloaded
and losing their joy in the game.

This opens the door to focus on some other things like helping the allies
and brining more people to politics because in past few months
it was impossible for a new player to catch up with a job we have created.
