The article written by humulus is missing some context, so i'd like to fill the gaps and tell the background story.

Right after Parabellum disbanded we were at the crossroad.

- First option was to join CF as founding members
- Second option was to help Serbia defend themselves

We were divided on the issue and we couldn't have an easy answer, we debated for days and when the time came and Serbia got attacked, we decided to follow the leadership of humulus and pick Serbia's side. The vote was overwhelmingly in favor of Serbia because we reached an agreement with Bulgaria to keep our friendship "alive" even in the darkest times.

The agreement was to keep the MPP between our countries and not fight against eachothers in rw's/neutral battles. 
Each side was free to fight for their allies if they get attacked. 
Nothing more, nothing less.

Before joining Phoenix we did let the HQ know of the agreement and they had no problems with it, but somehow it rarely passed a day without someone complaining about this.

Ever since Day 1, Romania didn't had any personal war, all we did is to help all our allies continously in almost every battle. We never, ever, asked for anything in return, we didn't chased more bonuses or had any claims whatsoever on any regions. We just tried to be a good ally.

Even if we honored our commitment and defended our allies in the biggest battles they had, it was never enough.
I can only thank people for their blindness and failure to see our countribution.

On a more personal note dedicated to humulus:
What i find dishonorful is abandoning your country after we decided to follow your lead. We never pushed the things our way even if we had the majority on votes. We trusted you and followed you to be our leader. When we asked to vote on the most recent issue and debate with arguments, you just left the country without saying a word. 
I know leaving us was always on your mind and the perfect option for you, i can only wish that you find what you seek and enjoy the game in your own way. i won't hold a grudge over it.
