Greetings, eDominacy

As I am out of active politics for the moment, I can focus on my other big passion in this kind of games - journalism. I decided to make a new mini series of articles that is focus on the undoubtedly most fun thing in the game - EPIC BATTLES. Why? They capture the biggest tanking, the biggest OHs, they are a great boost to economy and they offer an overview of how the game evolves over time. At the bottom I will provide the link to the RAW data.

The series will consist of three parts:

#1 Overview - the article you are reading, containing the general statistics of Epic Battles
#2 Countries - in this one we will take a look at the damage and hits done in EPIC battles on country level.
#3 Players - in this one we will take a loot at the damage and hits done in EPIC battles on player basis.

Let's go right at it with the BATTLES OVERVIEW

There were a total of 31 epic battles in the game until now. The total amount of damage done in them is more than 4 trillion. To be exact - 4,088,497,211,403 damage.

What we understand from it?

While the requirement for each next EPIC in the form of damage goes up, the amount of damage done in the battles doesn't necceserily correspond to the chronological order. Something one may assume is that as earlier we go back in the history of the game, while hits may be close, damage is supposed to be lower. For example, the first epic in the game, between Bulgaria and Albania, which we could assume will be the one with lowest damage is actually on the 23rd position.

The next thing we are going to look at is which countries had participated in the most EPIC battles

Some interesting facts that we can get from this:

  • Bulgaria, Serbia and Albania are the three constant powers in the game

  • Ireland was a brutally active country, considering the shorter timespan of its existence

  • BiH, even though a smaller community that didn't have much luck with bonuses in all but the last reshuffles, is also really active. Especially compared to countries that had better start like Germany and Peru, who are actually in the periphery of the game.

  • North Macedonia, which had probably the worst start as active community in the game and organized itself pretty late, entered the spotlight pretty hard and is a huge contender for one of the strongest countries in the game.

The next thing we are going to take a look at are the winners in these epic battles

What we can understand from this table?

  • Bulgaria and Serbia (and their allies at these moments) show way better efficiency than Albania in the context of EPIC battles.

  • Bosnia and Ireland which stand out as countries which are active and important in the context of EPIC wars couldn't materialize on their chances (together with their allies) and get a higher spot on the table.

  • Croatia is the most effiecient country (together with their allies) when it comes to EPICs - 2 wins out of 2 battles.

Now comes the moment to take a look at the biggest losers in the EPIC battles

There cannot be any winners if there are not any losers. I don't want to get into the history of the game and this specific battles, but at some cases the loss of an EPIC battle ended up being a WIN in the broader case and vice versa. For example the EDEN alliance lost the first epic battle in New Zealand, but at the end dealed a brutally powerful hit on the bonuses of Bosnia and Hydra. Another example is the EPIC battle in Free State where Bulgaria won, but at the end this was one of the reasons for the country to lose all bonuses. Here we can easily confirm the observations made in the last section.

What causes EPIC Battles?

  • In 3 of the cases it was League Wars battles

  • In 13 of the cases it was Ressistance War battles. In 9 of these cases it was about bonuses, in 6 cases it was about releasing a core region. In some of the cases it's both.

  • In 15 of the cases it was direct battles, part of World Wars

NOTA BENE! All the conclusions made in this article are based only on the data that is provided here. You will see in the next articles that there are a lot of nuances, which explain why something is like mentioned above.

Thank you for your time. This was the first part of the EPIC BATTLES Analysis series. I hope you enjoyed it. Stay tuned for the next parts and other interesting articles I have plans for.
