Hello dear community,
Today back in 1991 Georgia held refferendum and voted for its indepedence.
99% of the people voted YES !
People here are fighting against Pro-Russian goverment, standing strong against its pressure on ordinary citizens. This is going to be the 5th month of the protest in the streets of Tbilisi. People including myself went through terrible consiquences, brutal beatings from the police forces, tearing gas, being chased at 6 am to arrest you etc
This is the goverment who claims war in 2008 was started by Georgia with the intention to reclaim occupied territories. Started investigation against generals and previous ruling party about the above mention topic after 13 years of their ruling.
There are a lot of topics we can discuss, which I can not fit in this article, I just want to raise your awarness about it. I thank you for your time.
