Milutin Milanković,

was a Serbian engineer, astronomer, geophysicist,
inventor and climatologist.

The prize awarded since 1933 by the Geophysical Society of Europe in the field of climatology and meteorology bears the name of Milutin Milanković. NASA has proclaimed Milanković one of the most important scientists in the field of Earth sciences.
